Short and sweet Oregon winter
The shortest winter yet, but one heavy snowfall turned the farm into a winter wonderland overnight.

Happy New 2026 Year!!!
A dusting of New Year snow on the hills around Talent, Oregon, and a peek at the hillside where our farm hides in the trees. Happy 2026!

It's a Fog Season!
Four seasons? Not so simple. Southern Oregon has a few more of its own.

Goodbye winter!
This is our fourth winter here in Southern Oregon. We can not compare it with Siberian winter, but it was a good time here as well!

Happy New 2025 Year!
Yes, we know, it is end of January already! But can you believe, we celebrated the record number of New Year holidays!

Amazing Fall!
Cooler days did not stop that amazing food production that's just keep on giving!

February news!
Our first-ever February news: seeds ordered, baby bunnies and goat kids on the farm, and milking two of our goats for the very first time.

Winter at last!
It is almost mid January and finally the snow graiced our hills and decorated all around!

Fall is here!
Those yellow oak leaves! I never appreciated them enough. Now I love them!

Winter!
Yes, it's March 2nd, but still winter in Southern Oregon. Actually winter just started on February 28 and we welcome it! Finally white and snowy!

Frost on the ground
Winter arrives with frost and fog on the farm: cozy rabbits, hardy winter piglets that burrow together, and thanks to our community.

Harvest time
Fall Equinox abundance on the farm: bunnies everywhere, fresh eggs from our layers, six new piglets, and an invitation to the Fermentation Festival.

New beginnings
What time is better for new beginnings then Spring! Fresh, beautiful, hopeful!!! I am coming back to the weekly(ish) posts with more pictures then words. Enjoy!
